Currently, there is much concern and worry over global temperature climate change. And, no mater where you live on this planet, you most likely have seen the signs of climate change or global warming or whatever you want to call it to yourself. I certainly do see for myself that something wild, all over the world, is happening to our whether, icecaps and sheets, and normal seasons.
The abnormal temperatures caused warmer parts of states to become frigid (Texas experienced such an extreme weather event, this past winter season, that it was put under a state of emergency for the first time in history (frigid weather wise that is ) after a massive snow storm hit earlier this years). Also, extreme weather in other states have caused warmer than usual temps to heat up to record temperatures.
Yesterday, temperatures were so high in Portland Oregon that an all-time record of 112 degrees, was set. The same thing happened in Seattle, Washington which is also on the Westcoast.
Many states and counties have seen and others are starting to see record-breaking temperatures at greater frequencies causing people to be on high-alert, take vigilant notice, and call for urgent environmental change. Let's take, for example, California, 'Drought continues to wreck havoc on dry vegetation and wildfires incinerates hundreds of thousands of acres of forest every summer and even fall season. Those fires have increased exponentially over decades.
