Listen & Study Services' Commentary:
The CNN reporter (Don Lemon) interview with Camden County Sheriff, Tony Helms, didn't seem to go so well. It looked like the reporter was trying to get the sheriff to admit he dropped the ball when he didn't arrest the party goers for breaking the states social distancing rules. I like the sheriff's repeated reply; however, because he did a good job keeping the heat off of himself and showing us all that we need to know that social distancing is not law. Therefore, he is not legally obligated to arrest dissenters of this rule.
And, I agree with Lemon also, he has the opinion that the crowd showed ostentatious disregard for social distancing - I mean, it was an in-your-face prominent exhibition - and what was on display was not art but large groups of people laughing and playing close together in a pool during the coronavirus pandemic ban; which requires social distancing of at least 6 ft from one another. A person in the comment section of this Facebook video mentioned another tricky thing about the virus, he or she said that social distancing needs to be even farther away when one is near a beach because it's windy there and the wind could carry the virus 10 ft. This comment makes sense to me.
Here's the problem I have with the social distancing rule that most, if not all, 50 states have adopted: They (those states) left out an approximate deadline for this rule. And, now that the weather is much nicer nationwide, people have become sick and tired of being cooped up indoors. My family and I are no different. We take walks to get exercise (this is allowed where we live). People need personal space and time at home too.
One other thing, I want to know "Who didn't see it coming?" There are more parties coming soon!
Besides, we were told that warm weather could slow the coronavirus down! Did it? One of the links below states that warm weather will slow the virus down but it won't stop it from spreading.

The St. Louis County of Public Health Authority issued a travel ban for people who failed to practice 'Social Distancing' at a bar pool party in the Ozarks. Those people were told to self-quarantine for 14 days.
