Those guys really tugged at my heart strings with this video which shows all they did to save Jeffrey (And WOW!, they even named the chick!)!
This story would make a sweet story for a children's book. It has all real live characters and cheerful drama... lolssss. I'd buy it for (hmmm,) my grandson!
Move it along bystanders! There's nothing to see here but a tiny bird walking with humans out for an adventure in the concrete jungle...
Errr, things arent' as they seem though. This little guy (the chick) was quickly named Jeffrey and promptly helped to find his family!
Just when I thought it was of no use to help the baby, the guys never gave up! BTW, I can't lie to you and tell you that I would have let Jeffrey walk on his own (SHAME ON ME - I KNOW!)! Thankfully, the guys never picked him up because if they had, Jeffrey may never have been reunited with his family!
Jeffrey walked so far, I thought he was going to give up! He was so excited to see his family he jumped in the water to get to them.
Happy ending...
