I must be honest with you and not leave anything out of my confession regarding feeling inept sometimes! 

Like a whole lot of educated people, I find myself feeling completely incapable of accomplishing something of great significance! You might be wondering why I would be so candied to you (complete strangers)! I am so candied about my shortcomings & feelings because I fancy myself, "My brother's keeper"! 

After trying to complete my Bachelor's of Science degree in finance, I am now stuck in limbo as a Junior! But wait, "I am no  longer in anguish about this as you might feel I should be and as some of you would be!" Yes, I am done with feeling sorry for myself and am taking action to secure my financial future no matter how long it may take! Sure, I make a meager income and live with my daughter! Yet, why should I stop living and having hope for a better in life! 

I reflect and go easy on myself often. Most of all, I stay positive and keep moving forward trying to reach my goals. I know what some of you would write if you could or would reply to this blog post. You'd ask, "Why do you keep hoping in something that has not happened in all of these years?" To your question, I'd respond with something like, "I have no other recourse but to keep swimming to the other side of this great big huge lake called, 'life'! Sure, at times, I feel like my lungs are filling up with water and I can't catch my breath and am beginning to sink and drown!" Look, "I haven't drowned! I am still alive!" And,"I can see my goal up ahead! I will keep paddling along until I reach the other side of the 'Lake' called 'Life'!"

Thus, while I am still amongst the living, I will continue to share my life's story to encourage one and all whom, like me, so desperately need the encouragement!

I hope my story brought strong food-for-thought to you!
