After you read my commentary, I hope you do not think that I am not trying to tell you how to think, or that I am judging you on some religious level. I am simply presenting my findings on Stem Cell Therapy to present them to and appeal to those of you who are like myself; you believe that the embryo is indeed a real human being at the embryonic stage of development. And, you are overwhelmed with the idea of human beings being used in such life-altering fashions.

Therefore, I in no way support fertilized human eggs being used to aide in medical treatments for any type of disease. There is more good news in all of this controversy surrounding embryonic stem cell therapy. That good news, in retrospect, is that adult stem cell therapy, although limited in scope, is practiced in many countries taking the place of embryonic stem cell therapy! Yah!!!

According to the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine company article on its web page, a stem cell therapy embryo can be saved! The following quote is from that article:

​In most cases, yes. The hollow blastocyst—which is where embryonic stem cells come from—contains a cluster of 20-30 cells called the inner cell mass. These are the cells that become embryonic stem cells in a lab dish. The process of extracting these cells destroys the embryo.
