Wait just one second, I feel like we (US citizens) are being played like a 'Well-tuned' violin! I can't find any N95 mask for under $10.00!!!
Yet, I have found some going anywhere from '$24.00 (shipping not included) to $60.00 also, without shipping cost. In September 2019, the average price for an N95 mask was under $5.00. Read more (About how much the N95 mask cost in Sept. 2019) in the 'Related Info.' section below:
What in the 'Sam Hill' is going on out there?
First, here we have another greedy person selling PPEs for enormously inflated prices and bragging about that. Unfortunately for him, he got busted. However, he'll probably not get a lot of repercussions for breaking the 'no price gauging laws' and hoarding laws (wherever they may apply).
Second, I am 100 percent positive that he isn't the only one swindling Americans out of what little money millions of us have left after nearly two months of fighting to survive the CoViD-19 virus.
I'll guess as to approximately how many people are doing this. I'll give it to at least 1,000 people who are buying low and selling high to make an outrageous profit off of US residents and abroad. Remember the guy who had massive supplies of hand sanitizer that he couldn't sell on Amazon or any place else because he was considered to be 'price gauging customers' and making ginormous revenue? The authorities made him give the whole supply away.
Third, sellers are not done taking money from those who are going through hard times. They say that they're getting money from those who can afford to buy their high-priced products. Hmmm, last I noticed, "even poor people will purchase necessary supplies if they deem their health or their loved ones' health warrants it!" They'd do whatever it would take to make sure their mom, dad, baby, etc., is free of exposure to any and all viruses. So. why wouldn't they purchase a large hand sanitizer for $20.00? Why would they buy an N95 mask for $40.00 if they think it would protect them at work because their employer refused to pay those crazy prices for their employees?

Genuine N95 masks seldom cost more than S$2.50, and can be even less when purchased in a pack of 20 (see below).

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents and New York Police Department detectives recently seized 6,500 N95 masks from Richard Schirripa's Madison Avenue and Long Island residences. Schirripa had been selling N95 respirator masks, an in-demand piece of personal protective equipment, at a markup, according to court records.
