This isn't your typical commentary. Esau Morales' dogs are often confused with Pitbulls, but they are 'presa canarios' a much larger breed. "Are you visualizing how its bite must be far worse than pits would be?" If so, you are 100 percent correct! See below for a side-by-side bite strength and jaw lock (strength) comparison of these two dog breeds; which shows how much more powerful a presa canario's bite is than a pit bull's:
First, I had never heard of Presa Canarios before today. I found out about them while reading a comment in a yahoo news article's comment section. I thought the dogs attacking the man in the news video (See video in the link below) were pit bulls. Many in the YH comment section thought the same. After all, their resemblance to each other is uncanny.
Second, even though presa canarios aren't the same as pit bulls, anybody would be in shock to see dogs that look like pits attacking someone.
Lastly, most dogs who've gone on the attack have been put down - why not these dogs? This sounds harsh coming from a dog lover such as myself, but, personally, I can't see them being rehabilitated and placed back in society. They've gotten a taste of what it feels like to attack people - some of them caused considerable bodily harm. In the linked video below, a woman shows her massive wound after those very same dogs attacked her.
That said, considering what I've told you, you should now be concerned about your neighbors' choices of a pet dog(s) and should become vigilant when taking a walk or walking your dog; especially if your neighbors are anything like Esau Morales.

"A disturbing video shows a terrified man swinging a large pipe, trying to defend himself against a menacing pack of dogs. He’s allegedly just one of many who has had to defend himself from the dogs over the past few months. The dogs have been terrorizing a neighborhood in Little Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, and have bitten at least six other residents. The owner of the dogs, Esau Morales, is now in court facing criminal charges."
