It would be wrong for me to say that violence can be avoided on every occasion. This is a given. And, many of us try our best to live by this rule as we work and/or go about our daily routine. Who knows when someone, who's having a bad day, or who is plain ornery is aiming to take out his aggression on you - the closest in proximity to him! Such a situation is impossible to predict but not to be prepared for which was the case with the young lady in this video named Jasmine James a McDonald's Crew Worker. She had practiced her boxing style with family members who were into the sport. And, "Thank goodness she did!"
The customer Daniel Willis Taylor, became agitated because he had to ask for a straw. When the employee told him they were all out of straws; he went crazy and grabbed her by her uniform top and snatched her towards himself but wouldn't let go of her.
Unfortunately for him (the customer), the employee was not having his attack on her person for one second. James heralded dynamite punches to his head and arms trying to get him to let her go. After it was all over with, he demanded she is fired immediately. When he didn't get that demand answered his way, he tried to leave in a huff and kicked another employee in the stomach. He didn't get far because the police apprehended him and took him to jail.
I doubt he'll ever attack another fast food worker after this ordeal; he'd be crazy to try it again.
According to 92q.com Jazmine James said that she did not get fired but is on paid leave and filing Workers Compensation.
