Listen & Study Services' Commentary:
By now, most everyone knows that freedom of speech does not equate to freedom from the consequences (or backlash) of that speech.
I have an example for you of what I mean by the above statement:
If a person who doesn't like kids was to publicly voice his/her opinion on a child's social media page, that would not be okay to most ethical adults. Say she created a video and told that child how she feels all children should die. Most of us adults would be in an uproar and demand that she be punished for her actions; especially if that child were to commit suicide right after watching that video. But, what if instead of her spending one night in prison, she was told that she won't be charged in that case because she was simply exercising her 'Freedom of Speech?"
Sure she has freedom of speech but that freedom can only take a person so far here in the United States of America. When someone kills himself because someone else told him to do it, that someone else became a witness and instigator in the person's suicide. Here in the US anyway, no one can tell another person it's okay to kill yourself. It's a good thing our laws are this way and our 'Freedom of speech' is halted at this point.
Here lies the confusion over Freedom of Speech (USA):
In this young woman's life, she is currently experiencing what those consequences are from her exercising her First Amendment US citizen Right to Free Speech! She was fired from her job, at the Cleveland Clinic, for tweeting her destain for Jewish people. Here's the thing, she tweeted those vulgar tweets before she became a doctor (an intern) at the clinic.
Another odd thing about this woman is that she attended Touro University - Read about that:

The tweets — which were published by Canary Mission, a watchdog group that “documents people and organizations that promote hatred of the USA, Israel and Jews on North American college campuses” — were posted partly when Kollab was still a student at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, which is part of a private university system affiliated with Jewish culture and traditions.
How peculiar it is that she chose to attend a Jewish affiliated university to earn her Medical degree when she hates Jews so much; it is puzzling, to say the least.
