2019: Great grandmother arrested for what she had in her purse. Now she is suing Disney World Resort for it.
This great-grandmother isn't the exception to the Disney World rule banning items in her purse that the establishment deems to be contraband, and, nor, is she the first to be arrested at DW.
What did this poor little elderly lady have on her person? You ask. She had CBD oil (That's right!) She was carrying a legal supply of Hemp oil.
Guess what? CBD oil is not only legal in Florida, you can have it with you if its a prescription - READ ON:

There you have it, I believe or assume that this elderly lady had a prescription for CBD in her possession because many elderly people suffer from ailments that cause them great physical distress and CBD oil would help relieve much of their dis-ease. Some of those conditions include glaucoma, cancer, and others.
Lastly, I think that if the product she had was a prescription and followed hemp guidelines for Florida (https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2014/1030) (and-https://epilepsyu.com/is-cbd-oil-legal-state-by-state-and-future-legality/, she should sue for the humiliation and trauma she went through, while being arrested, all because DW didn't do its due-diligence by making absolutely sure the great grandmother wasn't breaking the law on its property. If not, she doesn't have a leg to stand on. You should have gone to jail granny!
