UNITED KINGDOM: Father and daughter found guilty of killing their neighbour Kelly Machin, 34 after she burst a football they kicked over her fence. Kelly suffered broken ribs when she was pushed back onto a coffee table after being punched in the face by 48-year-old William Jelly in August last year, according to the linked Yahoo article below:

Police said that after Miss Machin burst a football that had been kicked into her garden by the children of Jelly’s 28-year-old daughter Natalie Bollen’s, she threw it back to the kids, as a result, father and daughter went to Waldwick Close, Leicester, where an argument and row [fight] broke out. The article only states that Miss Machin fell onto the table but not who pushed her. She went to the hospital for treatment and was later discharged.

Little did anyone suspect that Miss Machin had suffered way more damage than previously thought when she fell onto the coffee table during the fight she had two-weeks before she passed away. According to sources, Miss Machin suffered internal bleeding and died. Her concerned friend checked in on her and found that she was deceased.

Certainly anybody can understand that one wants to protect their children from harm, but who could understand why someone would wilfully start a fight over a football? 

There were lots of ways to handle this unfortunate situation. Tragically, neither of the people involved in this fist fight that killed one of them and left two of them arrested and imprisoned and convicted of manslaughter; leaving her (the daughter) children (the same children she was so upset about their -football????- that was a very selfish prideful move) orphaned.


No indeedy it isn't alright to gang up on your 'Neighbor From Hell'! You just might hurt them like Miss Machin got hurt from being attacked. 

In America, if someone dies after being in a fist fight, unless it was for defense, the other party involved will be charged for that person's murder. As a matter of fact, if someone dies during the act of a crime you were committing, you'll be charged for that person's death because even if you didn't kill them, they still died while you were committing a felony. The perfect example, would be if someone died from a heart attack while you were robbing their home, you go to prison.
