Denise Williams Convicted: A Florida tale
​of infidelity and homicide ends with conviction

​TALLAHASSEE, Fla.  — In 2000, this murder case started off like a murder mystery movie. The wife 'Denise Williams' (No, not the singer Deniece Williams) stops loving the husband 'Mike Williams' and plots to have him killed. Specifically, she has her boyfriend, 'Brian Winchester' to kill him. Brian sold the husband (who was his best friend) a $1.75 million dollar insurance policy before he murdered him. 

Although this murder took place nearly two decades ago, the courts are just getting around to convicting them for murder. She is to receive her sentencing in 2019 and will probably get a life sentence. The boyfriend/new husband (2005 - 2016) turned her in and took a plea deal soon after they divorced. "Go figure"! Brian said that he shot Mike in the head and buried his body on a lake bed. He received a 20-year sentence for his crime. Why would they think that marrying each other would have worked? It's crazy to think that you could kill someone and not have nightmares every night afterwards. Yet, these two stayed married for ten years after they committed that atrocious act of murder!!! 

Denise and her lawyers claimed her innocents to the very end. But, if I could ask her (Denise) one question, it would be, "If you didn't know your boyfriend was going to kill your then husband, how did he know when, where, and what time your husband went duck hunting? Did your conversation with your boyfriend go something like this, "Oh, by the way Brian, my husband will be at Duck Creek Lake at 6 o'clock a.m. on Friday, December the 16th! Do you want to meet him there and go duck hunting with him?  Oh and 'be careful' we wouldn't want any accidental shooting to occur - accidentally!"
