We're living in a most intriguing era with growth of technology so advanced the world has never seen it before... Everytime we look around, a new technology has sprung up. Elon Musk is even talking about inhabiting Mars. 

Elon Musk considers move to Mars despite 'good chance of death... Elon Musk is considering moving to Mars, and gives himself a 70% chance of doing so.

Also, Musk has invented the most expensive electric car he named Tesla. Now, he has made them (Teslas) self driving:

 All Tesla Cars Being Produced Now Have Full Self-Driving Hardware... The Tesla Team October 19, 2016 Self-driving vehicles will play a crucial role in improving transportation safety and accelerating the world’s transition to a sustainable future.

Even though this commentary isn't about Elon, it does show just how technology is expanding exponentially from say a decade ago when self driven cars were only a thought in the minds of inventors. 

Not only are cars zooming in business, how about smartphones, they are so many smartphones on the market that can do so many task (all at once) that one can take a month to decide which of them to purchase. No problem if you're like me and you stick to one type of smartphone. I am partial to the Samsung Galaxy phone. I've had three iPhones before, and I liked them at the time, but the screen was too small for my liking. I finally wanted to see what all the fuss was about Androids - I am so glad I made that decision three years ago. I've never looked back either.

I saw another ad for a unique smartphone like no other on the market. This phone unfolds into a tablet when you want to use a larger screen. Talk about 'WoW' technology'! Unfortunately, I can't find that ad. I did find a 'Samsung' hehehe phone that is similar to the one I just mention. Watch the YT video: Foldable Smartphone.

Sorry, I digress. Back to the technology that helped put a bad person where he belongs - in prison for killing 25-year-old teacher named, 'Christy Mirack' in 1992. They found dna of the killer that year and saved it. Then they used it to match a relative of the killers dna; whom the found in a genealogical database like 23andMe or Ancestry.com. That's right, keep thinking on that for a few more minutes. You'll probably arrive at the conclusion, just like me, that sending your dna to a company could put a relative behind bars one day. 

Hopefully, you then think, "Oh well, that person deserves to go to prison if he or she murdered someone!" In this case, I agree with you. On the other hand, if you think it's an invasion of your privacy, I understand your concern but cannot agree with putting your privacy over solving someone's murder through using your dna.

I am having trouble wrapping my mind around how they know a particular relative is even in a dna database. Maybe they just take a wild guess and scour the top dna database companies. Either way, it seems the time is here where murderers can no longer hide because their dna will give up their hiding place. I guess we can say, 'Their dna will sell them out' just as it did for Rowe.
