Sherin was the Mathew's adopted daughter, she was 3-years-old at the time of her murder.

What caught my attention, initially, about this grisly murder story was how the couple colluded to cover up their child's death. The wife was charged with child abandonment or neglect (something along those lines) but prosecutors are charging him (the husband) for killing the little girl.

The first story he gave investigators was that he sent Sherin, 3, outdoors (alone) as a form of punishment. He soon (police found Sherin's little body) changed that story to say that he was giving her milk when she choked on it and died. I'm guessing that he supposedly panicked, when he and his wife couldn't revive Sherin, after hitting her too hard in the back to bring her back to life. I was thinking that maybe the back strokes were lethal and killed her, so they buried her in some pipes. -AP news

However, that makes no sense to me. If my child isn't breathing, I would immediately call Emergency (here it's 911) help. They both failed to do this because it seems they had something to hide from would be rescuers and police. What could that have possibly been? Let's see, toddler chokes to death, "we let her stay dead because we knew people were going to call us bad parents." No, that can't be it, because everyone knows that it would be better to be called bad parents if you tried to save your child but failed, then it would be to be called flat out murderers if you don't try to get help in saving him/her.

Now, we all see you both as the murderers you truly are...

Was Sherin a hand-full because she was learning challenged and was driving you both crazy so you killed her out of anger? Most people would have more respect for you both had you taken her back to the orphanage in India.
