 Cognitive ability is a must in today's fast pace society! 

Unfortunately, memory is a major part of cognitive ability. 

Many people all over the world are concerned about how much they can or cannot retain or remember daily.

Some of those people wonder if their forgetfulness is cause for concern. With so many cases of Alzheimer's on the rise, no wonder people have become alarmed at moments where they've merely forgotten their house or car keys. 

In spite of the many psychological research on memory loss (Dementia) and reports of those research that are circulating on the internet, way too many people are unaware of their true mental abilities; specifically, their memory abilities.

I've read so much regarding the signs of Alzheimer's that I have most of them memorized. One main symptom of Alzheimer's is memory loss - Some Alzheimer's patients become disoriented when out and about and forget where they are. Or, they have a hard time remembering sequences of numbers (like a loved one's phone number that that person had for years) or other information that they've known all of their adult lives.

Addendum:

I promise you that I do not have any symptoms of any type of dementia; however, I did forget to put a date on this commentary which I wrote years back! \(-b-)/! So, this is the reason for this addendum. I placed today's date in it. 

Also, I neglected to mention a seriously important fact about certain types of dementia, "Did you know that young people can get this disease?" Sure, two types come to mind right away: Alzheimer's and ALS. I searched for a video I watched a few years ago of a little girl with dementia (her father had her on a leash and some people were outraged by that), but I didn't find it. Instead, the first info I found stated that children aren't affected by dementia (Lies!!!!): 

​This can be very sad for the person and his or her family. It's important to know that Alzheimer disease does not affect kids. It usually affects people over 65 years of age.
