​​These men were on their way to work at a moving company when another driver passed them and ran a stop sign. Simply letting the guy know that that was a dangerous move, they honked at him. The man became outraged and waited up ahead for the moving men to approach him where he stopped. Then he shot at the driver.

“We were on the way to our job,” said co-worker Jeffery Mesa. “And the guy ran the stop sign, and he was [flipping] us off and all that, and all we did was beep the horn at him. And we tried to keep going but he followed us and fired off a shot at us, at first, when he sped by us.”

I've heard so many horror stories lately about road rage, it makes me leery about getting into another car. I've heard stories about drive-by shootings on freeways here in Chicago. I've heard stories about people simply sitting in their cars and someone drove by and shot them (many died).

All across this great nation of ours, there are maniacs blazing guns like they're doing a shoot in a cowboy movie! I must say, this incident seems to be one of the meanest road rage shootings I've read in the news about. Even so, I've read worse stories. This one road rage murder (yes murder) involved two mothers. One got out of her car and walked up to the other mother who promptly shot her in the face and killed her. She tried to say she shot her because she became frightened when the lady approached her car. That woman is now doing prison time for murder.

Oh yeah, the latest cold-blooded road-rage shooting that I read about was the one where ex-NFL player Joe McKnight and another driver Ronald Gasser, 54 got into a heated debate when Gasser shot and killed McKnight. Gasser was charged with First Degree Murder and then indicted in February 2017 for manslaughter and is currently awaiting whether or not he'll be convicted on those charges. His conviction would mean life with hard labor and without parole.

This shooter better hope the man he shot lives.

Long gone are the days when someone gives you the finger for cutting them off, or vice versa, when one could give the finger to someone who cut you off and it ends there. Enters the new era where just honking your horn at someone who cut you off and gave you the finger could get you a death sentence. You'll die >>> death-by-homicidal-maniac-behind-the-wheel.

Please be safe and let dangerous drivers pass you and flip you off! You keep driving.
