This little angel, 10-year-old N'Khemya King, has gone home to be with God (my belief anyway)!
N'Khemya's mom described her as playful and happy almost right to the end. That is the very reason she (N'Khemya's mom) nor her doctor had a clue that N'Khemya was terminally ill and had Leukemia in her body from infancy.
How would a parent know to ask their Pediatrician to check for cancer; especially since their child showed little to no symptoms of the disease? This is what this family has to deal with, wondering if they only knew about Leukemia when their daughter was a baby, they could have probably saved her life via cancer treatments.
Take time to read the 'Related Story...' in which the author talks about the different types of Leukemia (I thought there was only one, the one with an 80% cure rate- Her son had a different Leukemia).
