Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be played in Denver, Colorado where police seized a stockpile of weapons in a Denver hotel.
Are you like me and the first thing that came to mind, after hearing this story, was a terrorist was ready to shoot unsuspecting baseball game participants? Well, the truth of what really happened (in Maven hotel where the hotel employee saw the weapons and the hotel alerted the police) isn’t any less alarming.
You see, I found out that the FBI said they do not think this incident is related to terrorism. The FBI already knows where this arsenal came from and according to a person in this linked Twitter post, in the comment section, it came from drug runners. Don’t make me lie, I did not go and search out the validness of this comment because I felt it would be pointless to do it.
Why do you feel this way? You might ask! I feel this way because I see both terrorist and drug-lords as one in the same since both groups are a blot on this country (USA) and make us look bad on the worlds’ stage. Additionally, when the FBI found so many weapons (16 long guns and thousands of ammo) they surely envisioned outright anarchist and large numbers of dead US citizens. Think about it, sixteen long guns and 1,000’s of ammunition would kill a lot of people.
So yeah, the criminals want to kill other criminals for cheating them out of millions upon millions of dollars worth of drugs or money. This should be alright! Right? I say this as I visualize people reading this commentary while swiping the palms of their hands together as to say, “Good riddance !” And, I’m right there with all of you and doing the same thing but in my mind!
There is something seriously wrong in this country when we have human beings stockpiling weapons, not for self defense but in order to murder other humans to satisfy their lust for money and power. People like this are terrorist too! And, I can prove this. I know for a fact that drug-lords go after innocent family members and kill or have them killed if one of their drug cartel members crosses them. I’ve watched real-life scenes like this play out on Crime Watch Daily. Doesn’t this sound terrifying?
The word terrorist comes from the word terrify.
So yes, to me all terrorist are alike and should be stopped. However, I am not naïve and do not believe they’ll ever be completely eradicated off the face of the earth; as I so wish they would be!
