Please do not retain false hope that these senseless killings will ever stop. It's time we address this fact of life. Black shot and killed 13-year-old Avenanna Propst. "Say it with me, 'She wasn't his intended victim.'" I'm sickened by these murders of children. Avenanna was simply out shopping in the mall and having fun with friends when (it's thought that) Black and another teen got into a disagreement, when mall security asked all the teens to leave. The teen Black was trying to shoot left out a different door than he; Black shot into the crowd of teens anyway and missed his target, instead, he shot and killed Avenanna and wounded two other teens.
The Story:
He could face life behind bars or even death for his alleged crimes under North Carolina law. The shooting, which saw Avenanna gunned down and two teen boys, 15 and 16, shot and injured, happened on at a mall on Saturday evening, reports 3 WBTV. Cops say Propst - who died at the scene - and the injured teenagers weren't even involved in the fight which led to the shooting.
