Fair is fair, here at Listen & Study Services, we have generated quite a slew of commentaries on cops-gone-rogue. We are so happy to comment on those police officers who live-up-to their profession. We are more than happy, we're ecstatic. Who doesn't love a hero? Well okay, the bad guys in the world do hate them. 

Today, at this moment, we're not discussing bad cops nor criminals.

What would you have done in the split second decision? Me? I would not have chased the car down and try to pull it to a complete stop; that's for sure. At the least, I would signal for help by honking my horn. No body, except this officer, could really know what herorics they would be capable of until they find themselves right in the middle of one where they must come to the rescue and save a life.

Officer Carlos Carmo Jr., without the slightest hesitation, jumped into action, just like a fictional superhero come-to-life, and dashed towards a runaway suv that had no driver. He said that as he ran towards the vehicle, he yelled at children who were in close proximity to the car but to no avail, they didn't hear him due to various reasons such as many of them had headsets on that's why they didn't hear him. Those kids became priority one in the officer's mind and then he gained traction by using his shoes and leg and arm muscles to hold on to the suv and bring it to a stand still. I imagine his shoes were smoking at the end of this scary ordeal.
