Listen & Study Services' Commentary:
I may not be a chef, but I am ultra picky about what I eat! Contrarily, you might want to leave this page now if you think that I do not eat meat or sweets!
That said, I created this important portal to help balance the many topics that make up a healthy life style. Surely you know that I could in no way leave food out of my commentaries on health. Many people love to eat and many others love to talk a lot about it too! Hahaha!
I do not consider myself a 'Foodie'!:

I do not consider myself a 'Foodie'!:
food·ie
[ˈfo͞odē]
NOUN

"he is an avid foodie and successful restaurateur"

Foodies eat a wide variety of food - I, on the other hand, do not eat snails, oysters, worms, bugs, etc! You'd be surprised though that I love to eat many kinds of foods especially Asian foods such as 'Gimbap' which is similar to sushi. Gimbap is pronounced 'Kimbap'!
Gimbap defined:
Gimbap, also romanized as kimbap, is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and ingredients such as vegetables, fish, and meats that are rolled in gim—dried sheets of seaweed—and served in bite-si… Click the link below for more information on Gimbap!

What was most fun, over the years, were the many cultural events I experienced in high school, college, and other events. My Spanish class served Spanish rice (ummm). I cooked it by following a recipe I found in a book (Lol, no internet at that time). I will never forget those events because I enjoyed trying so many dishes from cultures around the world. I still go to cultural events, on my own, all these years later.
My French teacher wanted me to try 'Escargot' - I emphatically declined since I didn't like slimly foods (I still don't like, with the exception of okra which I now like) like snails! But don't get me wrong, I almost always try a new dish! Hey, "Please don't tell anyone, whenever I come across a slippery critter in my mouth, I chew it really fast and swallow!" "I never lie and say I liked it!" That's not the right thing to do or say to your host! I've chosen instead to always compliment another dish (there's always another dish) which I actually did like or love the taste.
There are far too many tasty dishes from around the world to list here. However, I will mention a few more favorites. I was impressed by the Ethiopian bread that was served at my university concert (I sung in the choir) so much so, that I looked for it at Ethiopian restaurants. Initially, I didn't like the taste. Out of embarrassment, I decided to eat it anyway. I quickly came back to reality and figured out a way to 'Save Face'! :) I lifted and tore off a little of the tortilla shaped bread and placed it in my palm along with pieces of roasted chicken . I was instantly wowed by the intense flavor of the combination!
Ramen Noodles are my absolute favorite ethnic food! I'm just letting you know even though you didn't ask me... {{{SMILES}}}! But I don't eat ramen at just any restaurant, I love ramen noodles at this restaurant named, "Furious Spoon"!:
I hope you've enjoyed my commentary!!!
