If you're an awake US citizen, you are probably thinking along the same train-of-thought as most of us. One question you may ask yourself is, "Why the heck did someone kill the journalist Jamal Khashoggi?" - Not-the-Saudi-government - I'm being flippant! - Sorry. I know this is a serious matter, and I shouldn't take it lightly. But, I most assuredly only quip at the brazen ideology that SA is one of our (US) closest allies.
One simply needs to read global news to see how Saudi Arabia mistreats its citizens and wonder how did America, USA, come to the decision to include (SA) in its list of allies. It's absurd and kind of scary to think we're being subtly brainwashed into thinking along those lines. The old idiom 'the straw that broke the 'proverbial' camel's back' was the murder of the US citizen, journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which took place on 2 October 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. The Saudi Arabian government carried out Khashoggi's killing; however, to the world, it denies having any involvement in his murder.
Bringing this case up-to-date, SA sentenced 5 people to death in Khashoggi's assassination. This action on SA's part seems suspiciously scapegoating to me. Are these men indeed the real killers? If they are, did SA throw them under-the-bus? I have so many questions about the murder and murderers.
Now, inlight of that world scene scandal of the murder of US journalist and dissenter Jamal Khashoggi when he went to Turkey to retrieve documents for his then up-coming wedding, Saudi Arabia is trying paint a palatable image of itself by catering to social media Influencers, celebrities and tourist.
