After you hand in your resignation, we'll be in touch with you when a new position becomes available. Or, you can stay on board by joining other employees and take a pay cut and a demotion.

Welcome to the 'New Business Model' which businesses all across the nation have adopted and are implementing even right now as you read this commentary.

Companies are utilizing robots instead of humans because unlike humans who make mistakes, robots, when programmed correctly, will work more efficiently. Talks like these are nothing new to most, if not all, of you. What may be new about this to each of you, is the idea of a robot teaching another robot. 

That's where weird science and technology meet when it comes to robotics. Tech geeks have figured out how to use images from a camera attached to a robotic arm and processed by algorithms for other robotic arms to train and learn how to pick up objects also. Initially, this technology sounds intriguing if you're like me and you love innovation, but I am appalled at the idea of robots replacing humans; this is a growing disparaging trend that's taking the world by storm. 

Certain companies i.e., Amazon would use these robotic arms in its fulfillment centers to fill orders quickly, eliminating the need to have slower moving humans working on assembly lines.
