I am a little embarrassed to say, but I am a little perplexed about this United States Representative's poor leadership presence. Here he has the chance to show young Americans how to respect others and applaud accomplishments across racial lines. But no, he has to make explosive anti-other-race statements.

When you visit this site, you'll see a video >>> Watch it, but watch the next one too that shows him making these erroneous comments about Europeans being the only ones who've contributed more to civilization than any other race of people; this is true for the American culture and all of the Western world, he said.

This whole protest against King started after his latest statement saying, in so many words, that the United States cannot become great again by using people from other countries to do so. He said, “We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.” Rep. Steve King

The author of this Washington Post article states his opposition to King's blatantly arrogant self-righteous attitude. He reminds him how Mesopotamia is the cradle of civilization where non-white people made plenty of discoveries.
