There is clear evidence connecting this suspect to Karino Vetrano's murder. What worries me is what the suspects sister said about his overall character. According to her, her brother is a loving person and would never harm women or anyone. I am not taking her word for his guilt or innocence, I just want to point out discrepancies whenever I hear them. This man has no criminal record, is a 20-year-old African American male, and appears to me to be a little confused as to what's going on around him.

I will say this though, the DNA under Katrino's fingernails matches the suspects - "It's not like it's happened before that an African American (especially young males like this man) have been coerced into a confession of murder and evidence planted on the victim!" -sarcasm-

Still, how would the police be able to get the suspect's DNA under her fingernails? Yeah, I believe this guy killed Katrino. Because, I can't see the forensic lab allowing law enforcement to go into their lab and plant evidence on a corps. Besides, corps are kept under lock and key for a reason - to stop tampering with the evidence on the bodies.

Sure, an officer could bribe a worker to plant the evidence on the murder victim, but what would the likelihood of such a deal like this taking place? I say that is a farfetched trend of thought. That forensic worker would have to take a chance and break the law and lose his job. And, why would an officer go that far just to solve a murder mystery and make himself look good?

In the past, police have committed shady acts similar to the above scenario, but usually, that entailed planting murder weapons such as the suspect's blood on a car door or something like that.

After he gets due process, (Remember, forensics investigators are smarter than most murderers - that's why many murderers are caught) and if he's found guilty, I hope he pays severely for taken this woman's life.
