While I watched this video, I became immediately enthralled in this story! That's until some lady started talking about how relatives of this new controversial DNA test could be treated as criminals during those procedures, then I started to change my mind about this new test.

Of course, it's wrong to treat innocent people like miscreants and subject them to unlawful breaches of their privacy! However, this new DNA screening match would be done within the confinement of the law!

Unfortunately, there are those who are in authority who would find a loophole in this new system where they'll do just that, "Treat innocent relatives as if they themselves have murdered someone", and they won't stop at a phone call, they'll take their mistreatment to a physical level and call those family members in for questioning (interrogation)! But wait, don't investigators already interrogate close relatives of suspected criminals?

I'm not quite sure what difference it would make if now relatives of suspects partial DNA are checked in a lab and then they are questioned versus the above mentioned current method that's currently utilized to weed out suspects!

Say for example, if I had a relative who committed the crime of murder but his or her DNA was not in the system - Investigators would take the DNA sample left at the scene of the crime and compare it to partial DNA samples (Ex: mine) that are in the system to get a match. Wholla! They get their man/woman via my partial DNA match! I would not be happy about being used as a ginny pig, but I would be glad my murderous relative was caught!

Some of you probably can't believe that I would want my relative caught for killing someone! I think you're wrong for feeling this way because those murdered deserve justice! How would you like a loved one's murderer to get away with his or her murder? I thought so! You would hate it, and you'd see to that he or she is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the judicial system law; wouldn't you!
