As disturbing as this documentary is, I do not feel sorry for these prisoners one little bit.
What concerns me is what further damage have they done to their already fragile state of minds. Those men (Female prisoners were not shown) had to endure months, and even up to a year, in (SC) solitary confinement.
Many were sent to SC for reasons such as, murder, stabbing, and fighting. The documentary told us how the men behaved before they were locked-down and, of course, after wards. Their behavior went from bad to quadrupled times worse. They cut themselves and say that they do it because there isn't anything to do but listen to their own thoughts; which are driving them crazy to listen to 24/7.
One man was bleeding so bad after cutting himself, he was practically covered in it and left a big puddle & long trail of blood behind him just as. The guards had to wear Hazmat suits to protect themselves from coming into contact with that prisoner's blood.
The prisoners in SC purposely flood their toilets and the hallway.
The whole point of this documentary is to show the general public that SC only makes prisoners worse and therefore, an even more dangerous to release back into society.
