"I thought I saw the car's back wheel run her over, but there was no mention of this part of the carjacking incident..."

The Headlines of this Yahoo news article read that the police are looking for a carjacking suspect who was doused with gasoline. But the video shows a more violent reality. The carjacking suspect jumps into a woman's already running car and begins to drive off when suddenly the woman mistakenly douses her own car with gasoline but immediately corrects the mistake and opens her car door and douses him instead. Unfortunately, she almost got run over and killed trying to stop the man from carjacking her car. 

I thought I saw the car's back wheel run her over, but there was no mention of this part of the carjacking incident. I watched the video three times and still see the same thing. I read the comments below the video, and only one person said he also saw her get run over.

Also in the video comment section below this video, there are people saying things like, "If only she only had a lighter!" Wow!!! And, "Gasoline on his skin will burn" - One person disagreed.

I guess I'll leave my personal opinion here instead in the video comment section. I think she reacted to quickly and could have died as a consequence. She did win this battle to a point because the guy stole a car that his no longer any value to him with all the gasoline fumes in it, he won't be able to resale it. I'm told that gasoline smells last a very long time even after the car has been cleaned numerous times.
