A mother of five children is arrested for the murder of her infant son, and the four other children had no place else to live. That's when their aunt stepped in and gave them the helping hand they so desperately needed. The aunt has no children and makes a reasonable living working at the Post Office. Unlike her sister, she has a BIG heart and states how the kid's new home with her will be full of it (love)!

The sister mentioned to reporters of how she is grateful for the officers help but was really surprised by their care. The she mentioned bad apples in the police force...

“I was shocked,” Burroughs says of the gifts. “And especially with all the bad press cops get — you have bad apples — I was shocked they wanted to reach out like that, and I’m very appreciative.”

Officer Isenhour is a mother as well and voiced her concern for the children and how she wanted to help them and their aunt make the transition to their new home - Officers gave them furniture, and other supplies, food, and clothing and helped them move in.​

Conclusion: This is a heartwarming story and it's sure to take on another life in more cases where children have been abandoned and law enforcement shows their willingness to give selfishly into the communities they serve and protect!
