Staring into faces of suspected, charged, or convicted murderers.

PHILIPPINES: Since he took office in 2016, President Duterte has had thousands of drug addicts killed. All the while, calling those killings his "War on Drugs" which he insist will work in eradicating addicts from his country.
His determination to wipe out drug crime has angered many including, in particularly, the United Nations Tribunal-Duterte. The US Administration has also asked Duterte to stop the killings; however, that was before President Donald J. Trump took office. Now, well initially, President Trump's seeming indifference towards the killings caused many people to wonder if he agreed with Duterte's chosen method of ridding his country of undesirables.
It sure looked to me as if Trump symbolically patted Duterte on the back in a congratulatory manner. I also wonder if Trump secretly wishes murdering drug addicts could be legal here in the states.
According to this news article, the Filipino president said that he would be willing to go to prison if found guilty of murder. And, he still insist that his police force was only acting in self defense when they killed the thousands of Filipino drug addicts, at least the police determined that they were drug addicts and thus, they had to be killed. As a matter of fact, human rights groups have accused him, and in my opinion - rightfully so, of allowing systematic extrajudicial killings by police.
Now that's freaky scary!!! Duterte is willing to go to prison if he won't be allowed to kill drug addicts any longer.
As an American living in the United States, I for one was shocked to hear about Duterte's 'War on Drug Addicts' that has taken the world by surprise. In many of our eyes, we see him as a dictator and mentally unstable. I also feel he has Delusions of grandeur, and I am convinced he won't be in office for long.
This news article is discussing a complaint regarding Duterte's 'War on Drugs Campaign' that a lawyer filed with (ICC) the International Criminal Court hoping to make Duterte stop his movement.
