How many people would love to get inside information in order to make thousands or millions from said info? I know I would love it. However, I am not willing to risk my freedom to obtain wealth. It seems to me that public officials and other public figures still haven't learned the lesson regarding living above the law of the land of the US.
They (public officials) and such feel as if they can get away with crimes that the ordinary citizens are sent to jail for committing.
They spend countless hours each day contemplating how they could get over financially (meaning, get extra cash without working hard and earning it legitimately for it - they want free monies). Oh, they don't listen to the "hype" that should they take risk, there would be an enormous chance they'll get caught - they think they're prepared to deal with the consequences of being caught whatever those may be. Most of these miscreants do not shy away from the dangers or threats of prison. Who knows, maybe they were lied to about 'White-Collar' crime punishments.
Maybe they have lofty visions of Federal prison where 'W-C' offenders carry out their sentences. And indeed, they may be correct about those visions. Truly there are prisons where convicts live that are luxurious and make regular prisons look like 3rd world facilities. "Not the norm law-breakers"! Yes, there are prisons for non-violent offenders where one could be free to leave a facility during the day. But, they are still prisoners and have to answer to other adults for things that free adults do not have to. An example of that is when they have to eat and when it's lights out and time for bed.
