Dr. Kaku talks about a topic that I started wondering about a few years ago. My thoughts on the matter were a little different; however, they still entail intelligent people from other countries. What I heard was that the United States was having a hard time getting Americans to become nurses and Nurse's Aides, so they brought thousands from places like Africa (Nurse's Aides mostly) - But the advanced nurses come from places like the Philippines or India!

I am not sure how true this is, but from the looks of the medical staff at my last place of employment, what I heard, about the above mentioned rumor, appears to be true. The staff had more African Nurse's Aides and Filipino nurse's than I've ever seen before in my life. There truly was a much higher ratio of non-Americans to Americans at this place. I forgot to mention that this company (my former work place) had four different buildings servicing elderly patients with Dementia. All of those buildings had similar staff (racial makeup that is) like I discussed in prior paragraphs.

After you listen to Dr. Michio, I hope you'll be able to contain your bewilderment; because, I sure couldn't do it. I finished watching the video and just sat there staring at the computer screen in disbelief at what I heard him say about our poor school systems and how we had to get educated intellectuals from out of this country! That's astonishing to hear.

I can't deny how powerfully astute and intelligent this man (Dr. Kaku) is - I've heard him speak before, but I forgot on what issue or topic. So, I am in no way going to fight what he said. As a matter of fact, I think that I won't search for an opposing argument to satisfy my need for him to be wrong about Americans according to his (theory?).

Here's to hoping he's wrong! I sure hope he is!
