I found a news article about a month ago, that I wrote a commentary on, about a another young woman who was kidnapped and put in the trunk of a car. She used her cell phone to dial 911 but soon became disconnected leaving the 911 operator to figure out how to pinpoint her exact location. Bingo, the operator came up with the idea to text and this lead to the car and location where she (the victim) was being held.

I included a link to a video about how to kick your way out of a car trunk by kicking the back lights out and then pulling some cord. The woman they used to go into the trunk and illustrate to us how to escape from there had a very difficult time getting out but she did manage.

Unlike the victim in the illustrated video I mentioned above, the young woman (a student nurse) in this Yahoo news report faired much much better. Her kidnapper told her to get into her trunk and drove her to ATM's to rob her. She was finally able to escape her captor. He had just come out of a Convenience Store (that had CCTV) and drove off really fast. The victim remembered, just in time about a latch in her trunk that could be used in situations like the one she was in. So she pulled it and jumped out of the car in sort of a rolling run for her life as fast as she could and sprinted into the Convenience Store to hide from the evil demon monster kidnapper.

I'm so happy for this young lady who's no longer a victim but a hero to all those females who thought if this happens to them, they would probably be robbed, raped, and then murdered instead of escaping the horrific ordeal.
