Part of me feels sorry for this man because he felt so scared that he temporarily lost his composure and went off the deep end. He was so outraged that those idiots had the nerve to break into his home to try and rob him. He shot at them...

He shot at them, I believe, to make sure they got the message that he will kill them if they ever went back to his home. They got the message 'Loud and Clear' but with some extra permanent results to boot when one of the homeowner's bullets struck one of them. Now that's a lesson the survivors of the burglars will never forget!

However, I doubt that will detour them or any copycat thieves looking to obtain easy cash and possessions they can hawk for cash or drugs! Nope, the wheels on the bus have been going around and around for millennia. There'll always be crime. And, amongst the worst of crimes are murder, rape, and armed robbery w/assault. 

Like I stated earlier in this commentary, I feel bad for this homeowner turned vigilante because he may very well go to prison for murder when all he wanted to do was secure his person and premises just in case the burglars came back. I hope the judge and jury will go easy on him and not give him too much time in prison.
