Why does this homeowner have more than one home? A better question is, "Why would a homeowner of two (or more) homes make such a stupid choice and shoot an intruder while he's showering versus waiting until the guy lunges at him outside the shower?​ 

Now of course, the roles are practically reversed. The homeowner is arrested and put in prison for second degree murder after leaving his home where the intruder is taking a shower and going to his other home to get his gun and going back to shoot the intruder killing him in the process.

Seriously? Who doesn't know that you have to be threatened (inside your home) by the intruder before you can shoot and kill that person(s)! It seems this guy didn't know this nationwide rule. And, I guess he didn't know that homeowners who've shot, but didn't kill, intruders who broke into their homes have been sued by intruders. Those intruders sued homeowners because they were injured in their home; nevermind that the intruders were more likely planning to harm the homeowner of the home they broke into.

I've read news reports that some homeowners have followed their home intruders out onto their lawns and shot and even killed that person(s). (See Similar Story [VIDEO] below:) Jeesh!!! I do understand that fear is reigning in ones heart to the point that you aren't able to think straight, but when you follow them out side, or go and get your gun (like the man in this news article did) and murder the intruder, that, to me, is pure anger and nothing else.

This man should have called the police and let them shot and kill the man! Sorry! I'm just saying, the guy didn't value his life; he would stopped showering (soap still on his body) instead, he finished his shower even though the homeowner left and didn't right back.

BELFAIR, Wash. -- A Belfair man charged with shooting an intruder found showering in a building on his property has been found guilty of second-degree murder by a Mason County Superior Court jury.  Source
