​Daniella Baggett from Sarasota, Florida,  a 37-year-old was arrested in April in her home where police say they found her and seven other individuals had overdosed.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section told Miami Herald news that they've been at Baggett's house, where she charge a service charge to enter, after there was a substantial increase in heroin and fentanyl overdoses there. This house, according to investigators, is a.k.a, "drug flop house'.

Investigators also said that they had been to the drug flop house 33 times, but none of those times were drug related.

Baggett told Detectives that she would get clean and stop allowing illegal activities at her home. She went back on her word and continued allowing people to go and get high and many were overdosing day-to-day over a period of seven months, detectives said.

Opiate use is definitely on the rise and not just in Florida, this disease is running rampant across the nation. I've lost count of how many heroin overdoses news reports I've come across in less than half a year this 2017. This frightening trend is showing no sign of slowing down anytime soon. 

I seriously think the increase in drug use is connected, some how, to the November 2016 presidential elections and people feeling depressed about it.
