Isn't it discouraging to know that we (Americans) are told that there is nothing to fear regarding the seven Muslim countries on President Trump's Travel Ban List (which includes Somalia). I beg to differ. A Muslim, ISIS like terrorist group in the Philippines called, 'Abu Sayyaf' beheaded this man to strike fear into Germany and others. Well, they've succeeded. Sure, this group asked Germany for a substantial ransom for German citizen Mr. Kantner's life and isn't the Somali terrorist who kidnapped and held him and his partner, as they sailed dangerous seas, for 52 days in 2008 for a $600k ransom, yet, both terrorist groups are Muslims. This fact is terrifying enough, according to the attached New York Times article below:
Also written in this same article, Mr. Kantner, who loved to sail, longed to get back to sailing. So, he went back to Somalia to claim his yacht. That's where he and his partner were captured yet once again. She was killed shortly after militants shot her on the yacht.
You see, one of their last messages to the world was that they are going to kill 'infidels' - referring to everyone who's not Muslim. So, how are we supposed to forget what they said about sending terrorist cells with refugees and other travelers into the United States. ISIS and others are bent on spreading Islam at all cost; that's, even if that involves the cost of the lives of millions of innocent souls.
Germany and the Philippines expressed their condemnation of this terrorist act.
