Are these employees receiving an opportunity of a lifetime? Or, are they being turned into human robots?
I'm quite sure most of you reading this commentary have heard the adage, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself!" Well, do you think that saying applies to specific moments in life that should be approached with caution, i.e., shouldn't it be alright to be fearful of moments like these where humans are entering unknown territory and do not know if there will be long-term effects of RFID Technology? Or, should humans just ignore their inner warning signal that something is not quite right about this new technology?
For many years now, I've followed my inner person that gives me a signal that whatever activity I'm about to partake in deserves my full investigation before I begin it. Sometimes I've gotten uneasy feelings before accepting a job an employer offered to me or just before giving my cell phone number out to someone I just met. I'm sure you understand that queasy feeling I'm talking about!
That is what happens to me every time I come across an article, video, or post about implanting a microchip into my hand.
Then, I ask myself a question, "Cathy, How do you really feel about human beings being turned into robots?" I always get the same answer, "I think it's an insult that humans are now being told that they are not smart enough on their own and must have robotics to progress intellectually!"
Now, you may be thinking to yourself, that my last sentence in the above paragraph doesn't apply to the microchip. But you're wrong about that thought. Here's why, "First they say we need the chip so that we can have health records, keys, and other vital information right on our person." Next, they'll insist that we alter our brains with more hardware to complete man's evolution into a much more efficient tool for progress. Where will putting foreign matter in our bodies end?
Will the robots in our bodies be so developed that they decide, not long after being installed, our brains' input is not needed any longer and that they will take charge of all decisions from that specific point on? If that's the case, I know I would not want to be controlled under any circumstances; because I don't drink brain-controlling substances like alcohol or smoke illicit drugs for the very reason they control my brain and thus my actions and will.
Lastly, how soon before it becomes mandatory for every single American to have an implanted chip to buy or sell? Don't forget too that electronics break down all the time, what if your chip crashes and you can't purchase groceries for a few days? There isn't a backup system available. They implant the chip into your hand and it's then connected to your bank account or whatever account you request it to be attached to. I have a worrying feeling the government will have people so reliant upon this system that they won't be able to live without it. Thus, they'll do anything possible to keep it.
This technology isn't new at all, it's been in the making for forty years or so. In 2014, Yahoo Finance posted an article hinting to the possibility of a mandatory chip implant, you'll find a link to this video/article with its surprising title, "Microchips Will Be Implanted Into Healthy People Sooner Than You Think," in the 'Related' section below:
