I can't think of anything more devastating than to have your own mother try and murder you! These poor kids didn't deserve to die because their mother gave up on life.
Personally, I think that if she really wanted to cut their throats, she would have succeeded. This KTLA news report also states that she cut her wrist afterwards. Again, if she really wanted to die, she would have found a way to complete the deal.
I call it a deal, because only someone who follows their finite mind that tells them to harm others has made a deal with the devils in their minds.
People say that we all have to fight devilish thoughts, and we only fail that fight when we do something so dastardly to their children as this so-called mother did to her little ones ages 10 and 7-years-olds. However, I believe we've failed that fight even thinking of harming innocent people, especially when your thoughts are of harming children.
Please don't confuse what this woman did to her kids with a very real illness, 'Postpartum Depression' because this condition is what many brand new mothers have succumbed to that is related to female hormones.
This mother has appeared in court because she will be convicted of attempted murder and aggravated attempted murder.
Each of which carry a 10 to 20-year sentences.

In the end, there really isn't any excuse for anyone to harm a child. Period!
P.S. Don't forget to click on the link in the 'Similar Story...' section about another mother who cut her babies throats (I do believe she had PPD)... She should have told her doctor or someone - She had two choices, to kill her babies (everyone knows this is wrong even when your mind is telling you to kill them) ->>>> No excuse and go to a mental health prison.
Or, she should have gotten away from them and called someone like the police on herself >>>> Been hospitalized and possibly helped. (This goes for the lady in the original article above, she should have called a suicide hotline).
