According to the Associated Press, there has been an explosion was in St. Petersburg, Russia. We'll provide updates shortly! The news reports coming in say that a man threw a suitcase with a bomb into the train causing an explosion. And, a second bomb was found on another Russian train, but it was defused.

At least 10 people were killed Monday in an explosion on a metro train in St. Petersburg, Russia, authorities there said. Russian President Vladimir Putin, who was in St. Petersburg for a meeting with Belarussian leader Alexander Lukashenko, said the cause of the blast was not clear. The Russian anti-terrorism committee says it has found and deactivated a bomb at another St. Petersburg subway station. Reuters is providing live coverage of the explosion and its aftermath.
