This situation reminds me of the time I tried to rescue a tiny kitten, except this lady was successful. I wasn't able to save him :(! I was wrestling against time, keeping an eye on my small daughter sitted on a bus stop bench (I really didn't want her to see that kitten die, but I would have tried to keep it from getting run over even if she wasn't with me). But because she was with me, that took away much needed time for me to reinterate for her to stay there and don't move while I go and pick up the kitten.
I was too late, drivers drove their cars closer and closer to me and hunked their horns for me to get out of their way! Bam! An SUV ran him over. I still had to retrieve the dying cat so it wouldn't be smashed into the black top. :'( {Tears}
This lady's story is much much happier...
