The Willfully Ignorant Chase Or Are Chased Down
The family of the man whom a Louisiana police officer shot and killed after giving chase, is suing because the officer shot their loved one in the back and killed him. They said their loved one’s Civil Rights were violated.
I understand they have no choice but to sue, but suing the police department won't bring their loved one back! The officer (who was probably fired) won't be the one to pay for the suit either, tax-payers will have to foot the bill! And yet instill, their loved one is still gone! It's like we're in an endless loop regarding these types of lawsuits.
I just wanted to vent because I’m so tired of crying, on the inside, every time I read or watch a video about police lethal weapon shootings and brutality…
Now, two lives are gone: One shot dead who would have still been alive if he had not lived such a reckless life and had to have the authorities called on him! And, the other person’s life is gone because he did not use his suspect pursuit training! “At all!” He shot the suspect in the back and killed him; that should get him a significant amount of prison time. Yes, his fatal decision will more than likely cost him his career, (temporary) freedom, as well as his future reputation - he’s going to have a hard time finding a job after he gets out if he is convicted!” That's why he started crying! He knew at that moment, life as he knew it, was over!!!!
Both players in this horror scene were being stubborn, at the time, and now must suffer the consequences! Well, the perpetrator suffered his already by being shot and killed! I’m sure he was told plenty of times, on this day of his death too, to calm down - his family tried to get him to calm down after he became enraged.
