I must admit, I thought I was going to read Mr. Farage's article and subsequently becoming angrier by the moment. Gratefully, that didn't happen. I didn't get angry at all.
However, I am still highly concerned that Nigel is simply telling us (the world) what he thinks we would find 'Not that offensive and racist' to save his reputation! In other words, I wonder if he kept his anti-multiculturalism comments relatively mild to save face. And, what he really is against is having any other race in Europe but those of the Caucasian (white) race.
I understand, I think, what he means by 'multiracialism' and he kind of does make sense. He blames the London terrorist attack, that occurred yesterday, on a man authorities say is of the Muslim culture. As a matter of fact, most all terrorist attacks worldwide, radical Muslims orchestrated them.
Where I disagree with Farage is his idea of singling out people based on their culture! "There isn't a way to separate the two - race and culture!
This theory; however, isn't a working one where people from other countries are accepted into your country by race versus by their culture. I could see it now, "Europe and the United States have adopted Mr. Farage's multiracialism theory and now both continents are full of those who are, in scope, a bunch of openly racist - spreading hate to the rest of the world." Why do I say this? You may ask. People will talk! They'll talk about Mr. Farage's former Leadership position at the 'far right' organization named 'UKip' a United Kingdom politically conservative organization many say is associated with racism.
However true the last sentence above is, it is irrelevant to me since he added, in his article (See link below:) that he is for multiracialism but not multiculturalism. You can't have both; you can have either one or the other! He's racist or he isn't and is all inclusive. There is no such thing as a person that's somewhat racist.
On the other hand, I could do more research and find dirt on Farage to prove he's racist, but I do not operate my business in such an unscrupulous fashion.
Here's the thing, Farage mentioned how it would be alright for Europe to support 'multiracialism' that he says is entirely different than multiculturalism.
I had to find out what that difference is, so I looked them up, and below is the info I found:
