​I found out yesterday that Infowars' founder, Alex Jones had to file bankruptcy this past week.

If you haven't heard the back story on why he was sued for defamation and the result was bankruptcy, let me fill you in:

Many years ago a great tragedy took place on December 14, 2012, at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. On that day a young man named Adam Lanza, after he killed his mother, went to the school and started a mass shooting. He used weapons his mother bought and trained him how to use and shot and murdered 20 children and six adults. Then he shot and killed himself! 

​I remember seeing Facebook posts calling those horrific murders, "False-flags" and told that the government staged this fake school shooting so it could take all of our guns away to stop future mass shootings like this one from happening again. Then they (the Facebook posters, as there were many) told us to not believe the lie!" It was soon after hearing and reading those types of posts that I started to hear that all of the Sandy Hook School victims were not real but crisis actors who helped fool us all. "I never believe this for one second!" My heart melted upon hearing parents sob for the dead children!

I had, at that point, only listened to Alex Jones a few times before the shootings to place. Even though I always read about people in the spotlight; this time around, "I did not have enough information to make a judgment on his character! So, I saved my opinions about Jones for later. Ever since I heard his voice after the shootings, my skin had begun to crawl... I couldn't listen to the man after that!" I wasn't alone in my despite for all the people, including Jones, posting how fake this and other mass shootings that occurred around that time. There were plenty of others who, like me, thought the following, "That the shootings were definitely real!"
