Okay Facebook, if you are going to make visitors to the United States hand over their passwords to DHS, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NEXT? Next, Are You Going to MAKE Americans Do This Too?

We will not tolerate any of your breach of privacy and will fight you coming and going on this matter!

I remember a rumor quite a few years back, approximately five years ago, people were saying that employers tried to force potential employees to give them their Facebook passwords so they could spy on them. The information they would have found, if things went their way, would have helped them determine if they wanted to hire a specific applicant. Than goodness that never transpired.

Nope, if DHS wants to spy on visitors to America, let them figure out another way. They're investigative staff were hired because of their investigative talents, so they can think of a better way to get information on potential foreign threats without invading their privacy on social media.

Listen & Study Services has thousands of Fans. Even so though we do have a lot of Facebook friends, we were still surprised (it's been a few years now) to see ISIS members brandishing guns and bragging about their dirty deeds. We did what we had to do, we reported them to Facebook.

Then we did a thorough search for more of the same types of people posing as regular people on Facebook account. That was rather time consuming but, we've not had any similar trouble every since. Still, the way we dealt with terrorist was to report the wrong doers. DHS can do something similar.

They could request to be friends with suspects and then spy on them that way. However, if that person is innocent, that's a Civil Rights violation.

Facebook is being sued by one of its customers once again. Over the years, well, that's not that many years ago, Facebook has been sued by thousands of unhappy customers whose lawsuits stem from privacy issues to content censoring. I am pretty sure some of those people suing Facebook are just opportunist and looking to get rich off of Mark Zuckerberg who is really wealthy since he co-founded Facebook in 2004.

I know I've had my fair share of concerns over something Facebook has done. One of those things was the time I was locked out of my account (forgot my password). Then I was asked to recognize some images of about five of my 5,000 friends.

Another time, I was told that I couldn't send as many IM's as I like and immediately received a prompt, with images for me to recognize, telling me to prove I was human and not a robot. It had a clause that I utilized when it happened again. The clause stated taht if I feel this warning for posting too much was in error, I could let Facebook know. So, I told fb that I was sending post to my Business Fan Page - I was heated (angry), but I didn't hear back from them. 

Since then, I haven't had any more problems trying to post to my FB Fan Pages.

Facebook is giving longer videos a bump in your News Feed 

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! I am for one, really happy about this news. Good bye short videos on my Facebook news feed. Thanks Facebook for giving privy to longer videos.

Now, I will save time because I'll be watching the videos that are most watched. I sure hope this new idea works and doesn't take away the views of some shorter videos. "Shorter Videos Matter"! :D

Please note, do not take this feature away, or you'll regret it! Just kidding Facebook! That was not a threat! It was a reminder! Hahaha! Kidding once again!

It's happened again, another child has taken to Facebook Livestream to take her own life! 

I'm not trying to minimize these two tragedies one little bit; however, I am wondering what these suicides will mean for the future of the popular Facebook feature that is, "As far as I know" is still fairly new.

Now, I have used this feature several times and really like it a lot. I used it to track Hurricane Matthew and the Widespread Internet Blackout! 

The downside to using this feature is that you'll frequently click on users who are engaged in activities that will unnerve you or scare you. So, instead of clicking on the blue dots and going right into someone's home, you can do a search in the Facebook Search for what's currently on 'Facebook Live'.

The other problem that is plaguing this feature, of course, is the problem of people committing crimes, or in this teen's case, traumatizing everyone watching by 'killing themselves' on global real-time social media!

It's truly depressing to know that children are resorting to punishing all of us on 'Facebook Livestreaming' by murdering themselves as we watch! For those who saw her kill herself, they won't be able to get those images out of their minds for years to come!

I mean no disrespect to these families who've lost loved ones in such an horrific way, and I do pray for both of these families - This was and still is a tremendous loss for them (to lose a child is one of the saddest things to happen to parents)!

This is fantastic! I am so happy that Facebook has decided to stop its feature that allows everyone who is on a particular thread of yours or that you're on, to read your grammatical mistakes.

It was truly embarrassing for me sometimes because every time I write a comment, I would ponder intently about whether I wrote the sentences correctly or not!

Ugh! It was humiliating to know that anyone could click on that word 'edited' and see how smart or dumb they think I am! Hahaha!

I read this article; however, it mentioned how Yahoo sold the inner core of its business, but it did not go into detail about its news or email services.

Listen & Study Services for one would be most inconvinienced should our email be affected. I (Catherine Davis) am the founder of L&SS - I do not know exactly how this merger will affect my company, yet, I will do my best to keep the communication window via email open - Utilizing free email services have been a blessing to our new business as we've grown and Yahoo has played a key role in our success.
