The New York Times did an outstanding job picking which images to showcase in its article titled, "The Year in Pictures 2016."

​So, I went to The New York Times website to look at their picture choices for this year-end review article. I must say, "I really liked what I saw." Even though many images, such as, the one above with the African little girl frightfully running past burning tires, are not at all desired images I wish to review, I realize that they played major parts in what happened in 2016, thus, they are a necessity for this year-end review.

I started to not visit this website and review the images of 2016 because of the two images presented on facebook. Those two images, 2 gymnasts and a group of Cuban males. They (the images) somehow did not attract my curiosity in the slightest. I mention my experience because I don't want the same thing to happen to you.
