I'm crying here... Why dear God did something horrific like this happen at a restaurant! Are we safe anywhere these days?
The whole restaurant rotates and this little one 'Charlie Holt, was only 5-years-old the day he died, walked off a few feet from his parents. Police think he was trying to get back to them when he got stuck between a small space in the wall and the rotating table structure causing him to be crushed to death.
There are all sorts of unique restaurants out there, but who ever heard of one that attacks its patrons! I thought when building any establishment, the owners have to build with safety in mind! Why the heck would they build if this isn't their whole objective?
Ugh!!!! This is so upsetting!
I posted a link to the restaurant on this page below only because I want you all to see the Yelp ratings and reviews for it and not to advertise for the restaurant. That would be heartless.
The reviews show that the restaurant is a popular one and that tells me that as tragic as this child's death is, it was an horrific accident like authorities said. The restaurant couldn't foresee this terrible tragedy happening.
Now though, I pray they go over every nook and cranny to help make 'Darn Sure' another child will not lose his/her life in this restaurant.
However, I know little about litigation & culpability on the part of the restaurant's owners should Charlie's parents file a lawsuit. And, if they do file a lawsuit, I do not know how that would affect the restaurant's ability to remain in operation.
I pray for his family that God will help them and ease their pain!
