This story kind of made my stomich ache because I visualized myself being the one to take the can off of this skunk's head, but I feel like I may have let the little guy/girl skunk down!
After all, skunks aren't known for biting as much as they're are for spraying people when they've been startled. I may need to just focus on this thought should this situation happen to me. I need to think about the previously mentioned truth about skunks because I may have to remove a can from one of their heads and if it sprays me, I will live!
On-the-other-hand, if it bites me, I'd have to under go rabies shots; which I read or heard are dreadfully painful to have to endure. Never-the-less, I have now given it considerable thought as to whether I'd rescue the poor animal or not! "I would rescue him or her absolutely!" And, I hope you would do the same!
