I often think about whether my daughter and I ever looked as much as many mother and daughters do (Just like these mother and daughters and grandmother and grand daughter look-a-likes in this YouTube video). Unfortunately though, almost all of our pictures where lost in my relative's storage. I had them there temporarily until I got the money to send for them here in Chicago, Illinois from California. I dropped the phone when I heard that he lost his storage! I cried for days about that! I am sorry about telling you my woes! However, though, I do feel my past life experiences regarding our family photos does have a lot to do with this topic. For one thing, family and friends used make comments about how much my newborn looked like me! I thought one comment that several people made which went something like this, "Cathy, I know she's your baby because you look like you spit her out!" Lolssss. People said for years that we looked like sisters instead of mother and daughter. Now though, I am feeling a little sad because I'll never know if we looked enough alike as kids because I only have one picture of me left. I was six-years-old in this picture. I do have one picture of her at age six, but we do not look all that much a like in it. That's the thing, I bet most of these people didn't look like their child's twin in every photo either! Oh well, it's time to let by gones be by gones and forget that I'll not be ablet to see if my grand daughter (should my daughter ever get married and have a girl child) and I looked like twins at a certain age! It sure would have been fun; I think! :) Leave your comment below:
