I don't know why I decided to look up what happened to Heather Mack and her newborn baby after she was imprisoned after being convicted in an Indonesian court of conspiracy to murder her owwwwn mother with help from her then boyfriend!

Sorry to have to share with you this young lady's statement of why she did what she did with her mother!!! I had to comment this!

Heather is interviewed by True Crime News and tells them she is soooo very sorry and is verrrry remorseful for her involvement in her mother's murder! Hopefully you know about that case. If not, please read about it below on this page.

For some reason TCN wanted us to know that Heather did not feel her mother (Sheila Von Weise) loved her but they (TCN) went on to say the following about Mack's reasoning behind her crime according to Mack and her aunt:

1) the young child Heather was breast feed until age 6 and not potty trained - Weise's & James L. Mack's friend stated in this interview with TCN! 

2) Heather lived a life of luxury even after her famous father passed away when she was 10yo. 
Her father was a jazz musician named James L. Mack

3) Heather became resentful of her mother and believed her mother had something to do with her father's death, according to TCN, from that time on because her mother did not stay in their Chicago home but kept traveling and moving on!

4) The young child would pick fights with her mother and some of those fights got physical where Heather would put her hands on her mother; The police were called to the home regarding domestic disturbance.

5) According to the TCN interview with Mack, she stated that in 2014 she and her boyfriend were just defending themselves against a violent Sheila Von Weise, Mack's mother, who became violent when she found out that Mack paid for her boyfriend's flight to Indonesia using her credit card without her permission. Heather then informed her mother that she was pregnant and that's when things really got ferocious and her mother came at her with a knife. So, Heather called her boyfriend to come from his hotel room to theirs and help get her mother off of her! He picked up a glass fruit dish and wacked Sheila upside the head and then they stuffed her into a suitcase and left it in a taxicab; no one said if she was deceased then. I can imagine that she was!

I was curious to know why the judge denied the grandmother of this young woman, Heather Mack's, toddler daughter, named 'Stella', permanent custody of her grandchild. The toddler's mother and father are Americans found guilty in an Indonesian court of murdering her mother Sheila von Wiese-Mack and sentenced to 10 (her) and 18 (him) years behind bars. The baby's father, 'Tommy Schaefer' claims von Wiese-Mack violently attacked him when she found out Heather was pregnant.

Indonesia allows new mothers to keep their babies until they reach two years of age.

I read in this this NYTimes article that in spite of the US law that grants legal custody of minors to grandparents should a parent(s) be deemed unfit to raise them, it (the law) can be overwrote in extenuating circumstances such as this one. keep reading... Here
